I completely agree with trentcs's last post, tell 'em to shove it. Just a heads up, if rumors like this come up that aren't from a member of the show themselves, or one of the site admins / editors (Andrew, KG, Nathan, Pikelet), I would be very cautious about believeing it. There are people out there who are trying to use the fact that we all want the show / podcast back to spread fake info / rumors, just because they're dickheads. Spoony would be disgusted. The people who do this stuff aren't real Spoony fans. |

no probs man - I've dealt with the rumor on the homepage. - it's just the kid who runs it, not the rest of the group who have the problem - they could be correct, but with the amount of rubbish sprouted in the past - I highly doubt it! |

Guys and Gals, I wouldn't trust this e-mail. This group "Bring Back Spoonman" is quite famous for spreading complete crap about the Spoonman Show - I was told by the leader of this group that the Spoonman would be going to the Blue Mountains community radio on weekends from Jan 09 - and that hasn't happened + many other things. So yea - I would probably be ignoring anything like that arriving in your inbox from that facebook group. Andrew |

Episode 30 question
Just something I've been pondering... About 13-14 minutes in, they start talking about Howard Stern and the girl who wanted to sell her virginity for her college education (moral outrage...). Maybe 2-3 minutes later Spoony mentions something about being "mistaken for him (Howard) in New York" and the pets told him he'd told the story before. But... I don't remember it. Did I really miss it in an earlier episode or was it never told (as opposed to his repeat of the movie "Talk Radio" which oddly enough wasn't picked up on)? |

I'm listening to it now. I'm pretty sure Spoony says "Because he (Odie?) sure as shit doesn't love the punish." The 'sh' sound in 'sure' probably confuses the sentence. Go from 12:52 so you have time to get adjusted. They also mention tons of references to 'in-joke' so yes, the polynesian trannies probably have something to do with this. |
