Yeah - I happen to do a free podcast (you can't charge for podcasts on iTunes) every week and I put it on iTunes as well as my website. Mine has probably the same amount of swearing as ATFS, and it got approved, of course, I had to mark it as explicit (so now the red explicit box comes up next to the name of my podcast in the iTunes store). All you have to do to submit a podcast, is make an rss feed for you podcast (most good podcast websites will simplify this process so you don't have to write any code), then click submit a podcast in the podcasts section of iTunes. They then review it or whatever, and it's in the store within a couple of days. Then, when you make a new episode, you just ping the iTunes store (you get given a URL for this when they approve your podcast), and it appears almost instantly.

I'm not sure exactly why Garfield & Odie don't want to put the new podcast in iTunes, but what they both said last time I talked to them was that it wasn't going to be put there, and that they have someone making a website for them just for the podcast.

That's actually an interesting angle, with iTunes. Does anyone know how that system works? and if they did, would it pass their censorship?

hi all

so after talking to garfield and odie.

i can tell you that at this stage it looks like ATFS will be coming back after they sort out all the stuff like websites and servers and stuff

and they will be putting blogs out and some ATFS merch.

and they will be keeping there monikers.

thats what i know so far.

For those unaware, he is now the Executive Producer of the Ugly Phil and Sami breakfast show on MMM Sydney, he started about march i believe. Since he came along they have included proper talkback segments into the show.. its great having phil and sami on some topics completely disagreeing or agreeing with eachother, the interaction is halarious. Spoony is heard here and there during the show sometimes..

Have you got some Garfield fascism? That stuff was classic. Humorous, but with a serious point.

The other thing I really want to hear regardless, is an explanation from anyone about the in joke about 13 minutes into the 36th podcast. The bit is that in joke which generates HUGE laughs and spoonie gets a hundred points. The quote is something like "cause she sure as shit doesn't love the punish"

The return of ATFS is awesome news, but I'm thinking about a few things: Will Spoonie and co will be able to keep their Triple M monikers? Also, when "ATFS Revival" does get off the ground (which it will) and becomes incredibly popular (which it will), how the fork is this website going to take the traffic, seeing as it's the original (and currently) the best fan site?

By the way, Garfield and Odie could actually try and plug this on Triple M so that Spoonie's old listeners know that there is a phoenix from the ashes?

Odie seems to be very good at encrypted messages, as we've all seen from his post on the wiki informing us about the ATFS's return, i'm sure he could drop something cryptic in one of his announcing shifts on the weekend!?! Anyway, just to throw my hat in the ring again - really like KG's suggestion of "The Forking Spooncast", but I'd like to put my own spin on it, so how about: "The Forking Spooncast With Garfield And Odie"?

Also. If the ATFS get's merchandise......I'm buying at least one of everything and wearing it all to work.

Gotta love Michael's confidence by the way. Go get 'em mate.

Hi everyone,

I know this isnt really for this section but it wasnt really for the other section either. In wake of the news that ATFS may be on the go again I did some internetting and found Spoonmans (Brian Carlton's) new business podcasts. http://www.abnnewswire.net/index.asp?lang= Thats the link if anyone is interested, it is basically spoony interviewing business people.
