Would you support a pre-emptive nuclear strike?

Do you think a nuclear strike is appropriate under the right circumstances?

There's an interesting yarn going around today that some of the West's head generals have got together and nutted out a new strategic manifesto to protect the interests of western countries.

In short, it suggests that the western world is falling behind in its challenges, and has become too bureaucratic to function properly.

But the really interesting and controversial bit coming out of the manifesto is that it condones the idea of a pre-emptive nuclear strike.

They argue that we now live in a world where nuclear war is a genuine possibility, and we cannot ignore it as a realistic option to halt terrorism and/or rogue states from threatening the western way of life.

But would you support a nuclear strike against another country under any circumstances?

Especially if it was suspected another country would instigate a nuclear strike first, would you be in favour of nuking them first?

Over to you...
