Hey Guys,

Firstly, thanks to Editor Sam Anderson for providing this information, because I'm currently at school doing the normal stuff - periodic functions etc......

In the twist that is Triple M, it looks like Spoony will be doing 5-10 minute news editorials throughout the day (10am-3pm) on Triple M Sydney which will be rolled into a daily podcast. Spoony will then also do a seperate daily podcast of content you won't hear on air, it will feature news, e-mails and phone calls from people who contact Spoony through the Triple M website who want to discuss or "argue" their point with The Spoonman! So it's not the same show the was on Triple M last year. Apparently the role will evolve throughout time and this will slowly expose the mainstream Triple M audience (who don't listen to nights) to the Spoonman.

So yea, I'm just as surprised as you are about the new role. It certainly is "a brand new idea on FM radio" as his twitter said it would be and if you're true Spoony fans, you'll be happy just to hear him back on the air again after 9 months of off air roles!

Lastly, the idea for ATFS has not gone away either - Odie, Garfield and Spoony are still keen to continue them, now that they all work similar times of the day (none in Brekky or extremely late night or anything) this may be easier.
