The Forking Spoonfan Wiki (Spoonman Fan Club)

Been reading the Forums recently - thought you guys deserve an update on what's happening - would have done this earlier but haven't been well recently. This is what Odie said to me:

"well, as you may or may not know, things are a bit hetic here at mmm. cant say anything now other than its delaying its progression. Still 100% passion for it to come back, just might be later than expected"

Basically the Ugly Phil & Sami breakfast show has been axed from Triple M Sydney (which Garfield, Odie and Spoony all worked on) and now things are being done to replace and reshuffle the station.

From Tonight Ugly Phil is back in his old evening slot from 2008 at 7pm-10pm on Triple M Sydney (I listened, really good actually, check it out). There are mumors and hopes that Spoony will slip nicely into that still vacant 10pm-1am slot, though while Phil did mention that it wasn't happening at the moment, he didn't say it wasn't going to happen either.

So that's where we are currently standing with ATFS - I can't say much more than that on it. Sorry for the lack of news lately, there just hasn't been much to tell you other than the problems at Triple M which isn't really what this is about.

Hey guys,

Just a quick post saying I'm starting to resume the uploading of Spoony show podcasts - I'll probably try to upload about 14 a week (so either 7 on Saturday & Sunday or 2 per day or maybe more if I get time) - I've got around 300 or so to upload so plenty of new material to come :)

I notice there has been a bit of chat on the comments about the new ATFS podcast - so I've opened up a forum where you can all discuss topics. To post you don't need to make any new accounts - if you have a login to the website currently, you'll automatically be able to post. If you don't have a login to the website - then make one down the side and become a Spoonfan!

Hey Everyone,

You may have seen the secret coded message Odie has put on the Wiki recently. I have spoken to Odie and because Spoony, Garfield & Odie all now work at Triple M (in different roles) it may be possible to continue the ATFS podcasts as an internet only special!

But.... We need your support - Odie says they need a strong fan base if the ATFS return is going to go ahead. Spoony specially made this a point, that it should only be done with strong fan support. So this is what you need to do - on the fan club we have a nice new poll - located at the top left above the naviagation controls on every single page (so you can't miss it) asking the simple question - Would you like ATFS to return?

We need you all to vote - and tell your friends who listened to the show, but who are not a part of the fan club to vote (you don't have to sign up or anything to vote)

Another possible aspect to the show may be live video streaming of it - stay tuned for that!

I'll send out more information when I get it - just get your vote in!
